Chris + ShaeLee // Chateau de Fleurs Wedding // Sneak Peek

Chris and ShaeLee’s Chateau de Fleurs wedding in Eagle, Idaho was one for the books! ShaeLee did everything she could to make sure that this event was not only absolutely stunning, but also the most fun you’ve ever seen! The dance floor was so full of laughs and rocking moves for over three hours! Plus, get this…ShaeLee had a hippo mascot come out and surprise her new husband, Chris, on the dance floor! You might be thinking, “Why a hippo!?” The newlywed couple owns a company called The Happy Hippo and work together to make the company successful.

I loved every detail of ShaeLee’s dream fairytale wedding! ShaeLee is such a sweetheart and deserves every ounce of joy that this wedding brought to Chris and and her guests!

As always, one of my favorite ways to introduce you to my couples is to share with you the story of how they got engaged! I always love reading them and hope that you do too! In her own words, here is how Chris proposed to ShaeLee:

ShaeLee and Chris were back and forth in two cities, ShaeLee was in Los Angeles and Chris was in Boise. Chris told ShaeLee he would be ready to take the next step of getting married when she moved back to Boise. When ShaeLee decided to move back to Boise, to be in one place with Chris, he went to LA to help her pack up and move. One of the last nights they were there Chris took ShaeLee to the place they had their first date and they sat on a ledge they sat on that night. He opened up his backpack and pulled out a towel for them to sit on and that was when she had an idea something was going on. He then gave her a card that talked about what he loved about their relationship and at the end it said, "Will you marry me?". Then he got down on one knee (more like a squat actually) and asked if she would marry him. She said, "Yes!", and then asked, "Is this really happening!?" Of course there were tears. It was the best night of her life so far!
