Mackenzie & Joe // Shore Lodge Wedding // Sneak Peek

The day could not have been more gorgeous! Planning a wedding in the fall in the Idaho mountains is always a little risky. In fact, earlier in the same week as the wedding it snowed! So for us to have a gorgeous, sunny and warm day was such a blessing! I’d like to believe that it was all meant to be for this incredibly special couple.

Adriana + Jeremy // Palouse Wedding // Sneak Peek

When I saw Adriana and Jeremy got engaged I secretly was hoping that they would call me, so when that phone call did come I was composing myself trying to stay cool and calm. We got together for their engagement photos in the fall of 2019 and were anticipating a summer wedding in 2020. Of course, we were forced to pivot and instead planned a wonderful celebration in July of 2021. Adriana and Jeremy were ready to be married, so they actually went forward with a very intimate, family only wedding on July 10th of 2020, and together we celebrated their one year anniversary in 2021!

This 4th of July celebration was a home run! If you missed the pun don’t worry, I’ll fill you in. Andrew and Lindsay met when Andrew was playing professional baseball. Legend says, he couldn’t take his eyes off her at games, and years later anyone who is around them knows that legend is still true. Many nights were spent under stadium lights, but the brightest light there was Lindsay.

Mehria + Ben // Boise Art Museum Wedding

The celebration took place at the Boise Art Museum in Boise, Idaho. This venue is not a well known wedding venue, but I can imagine that it’s popularity will grow once others see what a fantastic job Sprout Design did to this space! While the original plan was to celebrate the ceremony outside in the back garden, spring storms had other plans. The team did a quick shift before guess carried and moved the ceremony inside the lobby of the museum. We battled rain all day, but the sun came out just in time for us to go capture formal portraits outside!

Sierra + Ryan // Andaz Maui Wedding Photographer

Plans all started with a gorgeous wedding being planned at a winery in Washington, but due to Covid we were forced to postpone. After months of grieving the loss of their first wedding plans, Ryan and Sierra contacted me about potentially moving the wedding to Ravello, Italy instead! I was absolutely on board with this plan, because Italy is one of my favorite places and I was ironically already planning to be there for another wedding!

Low and behold, things did not let up like we had hoped, and the dreams of the Italian elopement was beginning to slip away. While it was not easy to have to start all over again planning a third wedding, R & S were ready to be married. So that’s what began the plans for a Maui elopement! Maui reopened to visitors in October and has slowly been allowing events to happen again. While there are still heavy restrictions and precautions being taken, a small gathering outdoors was allowed for their April wedding.

Kathryn + Steffen // Sun Valley Idaho Wedding // Sneak Peek

Kathryn & Steffen originally planned to be married in June in Sun Valley, Idaho, but opted to delay for September at the beginning of the pandemic. With that, changes were made to accommodate a smaller guest list, and in turn a very intimate celebration was created. The intimacy of the smaller wedding day did not take a single bit of the beauty or magical away from this event. In fact, I’d argue that the smaller wedding had more impact and beauty. With a live band, stunning decor, and the couple’s closest family and friends present, the night was a dream. They even were able to bring Riley, their sweet lab; who, might I add, was absolutely adorable during the ceremony.

Jessica + Dennis // Chateau Des Fleurs // Sneak Peek

My goodness! These two. How do I even start this? Our journey together began about a year ago when Jessica and Dennis started planning their Boise, Idaho wedding. We had to pivot plans almost immediately after their engagement session, when their original venue had to abruptly close. I worked closely with Jessica during the change of venue and was so impressed by her calm demeanor and positive attitude. Losing the venue is not something a bride anticipates happening!

And then…Covid-19 hit. The beautiful part of this otherwise tragic story is that Jessica remained positive the entire time leading up to the wedding date, and then other date, and then other date. Yes, three date changes. You guys, this poor couple went through the ringer! Yet, they stayed positive the entire time; which lead us to this beautiful day.
