Alexie & Jake // Lewiston, Idaho Wedding

Alexie and Jake are one of my favorite couples! I met them both in high school in Lewiston, Idaho and never thought that someday I would be their Lewiston wedding photographer! There is nothing that means more to me than getting to share in a couple's most important day. When I asked Alexie what her favorite thing about Jake was, she said his patience.  It was amazing to see that play out on their wedding day.  Jake was beyond patient with me as the photographer, and the entire wedding scene.  He was grateful and kind to everyone and that was so special to see knowing that it was Alexie's favorite thing about him!

Alexie is kind of a badass, she has played hockey her entire life and is a local hockey coach! She is tougher than nails and yet, sweeter than anyone you've ever met! Her smile lights up the room and encourages everyone around her! You can see when she smiles at Jake just how much he appreciates that quality about her!

Another thing about Alexie and Jake that I love so much is that they both love to cruise just as much as my husband and I! In fact, they got engaged on a cruise ship! Jake packed the ring in his parent's camera case, and the way he tells the story he makes it sound like Alexie was a little confused by how protective Jake was being about the camera case getting on the ship safely! Of course she had no idea why he was being so protective over a camera, but I'm sure she was glad that the case made it safely!
