Mackenzie & Joe // Shore Lodge Wedding // Sneak Peek

Mackenzie and Joe made saying, “See you soon” so difficult. Tears welled up when we gave one another our parting hugs at the end of their gorgeous McCall, Idaho wedding at the Shore Lodge. They’re the type of couple that wedding photographers dream of getting to photograph!

The day could not have been more gorgeous! Planning a wedding in the fall in the Idaho mountains is always a little risky. In fact, earlier in the same week as the wedding it snowed! So for us to have a gorgeous, sunny and warm day was such a blessing! I’d like to believe that it was all meant to be for this incredibly special couple.

There are so many fun touches in this wedding! One of my absolute favorites was the escort display, which was made to look like ski passes for famous ski mountains. Joe, the groom, grew up on the ski team and competed at Brundage Mountain, which is the home mountain in McCall. It’s also my personal favorite mountain, but shhhh! Keep that between us!
