Karli + David // Boise, Idaho Engagement Session

I first met Karli and David on Instagram when I asked my followers if anyone would be willing to model for me for a shoot for Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine.  Karli responded quickly and I got so excited! The only issue was that our schedules didn't line up, so we had to postpone our shoot together.  A few days later David sent me an email saying that he was wanting to propose to Karli and he knew it was important to her to have me photograph the moment!  The plans to make it a surprise, but still get great images was pretty stressful! One of my favorite things to do is ask my couples to write out their love story so that readers can hear their story through their own words.  Karli wrote it out for me and I would love to share it with you! 

We met a few years before our love story began. We were two years apart at the same high school, and passed each other in the halls but never said much more than hello. All of that changed one Black Friday outside of Forever 21 at Boise Towne Square when something was different. This brief meeting turned into a year or so of on and off conversation (mostly over text, much to Karli’s dismay). Fall coffee dates turned into winter dinner dates and on February 15, 2015, David finally got the guts to ask Karli to be his girlfriend and nothing has been the same since. Through the ups and downs of relationships, college, and transitions, our love for each other has been a constant. We are so excited to continue writing the next chapters of our lives together, starting with our wedding and continuing with the journey of marriage.
