Amy + Justin // Still Water Hollow Nampa, Idaho Wedding // Sneak Peek

I first met Amy and Justin in the winter, as they both snuck away from pharmacy school during a small break. To say these two are busy is an understatement! They have both been working so hard on their careers as pharmacists, I’m surprised they even found a free second to get married! Thank goodness they did, because it was stunning!

I asked both of them when they knew they were in love and their answers were so beautiful I couldn’t help but share!

In Amy’s words: A couple months after we had been seeing eachother, Justin took me back to his hometown of Colorado Springs, CO. He had planned out something fun for us to do every single day for a week. It was so much fun and one of the best road trips/vacations I have ever been on. That was when I knew he was the one.

In Justin’s words: I know this sounds cliche, but I knew I was in love when I first layed eyes on Amy at her friend's brithday party. A couple of days later I even called my mom and talked to her about Amy being the one.

Is that not the most special thing you’ve ever heard? It’s things like this that make me love wedding photography so much! While the decorations are stunning, the food is wonderful, and the dancing is a blast, my favorite part of the wedding is there reason we are all there. The love story behind the wedding.

Speaking of love stories, Mr. Romantic himself, Justin, wrote out their proposal story and I cannot wait to share it with you!

I wanted to make the proposal special, and rodeos and country concerts are the key to Amy's heart! Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were coming to Boise, which made for a perfect opportunity! I worked so hard for that first kiss, a heart don't forget something like that. I wanted to do something a little more extra, something that would last a lifetime. I heard about an opportunity to purchase an engravable brick to be placed at the Grove Plaza fountain. Amy and I love downtown Boise for the restaurants, the night life, the hockey games, and the Saturday market to name a few. So I seized the moment and purchased an engravable brick to help seal the deal. The next obstacle was to determine what to put on the brick. "Runnin' Outta Moonlight" is Amy and I's first song we enjoyed, and would be a perfect phrase to wrap up our relationship. After the concert I took Amy to Buffalo Wild Wings in the Grove Plaza and strategically designed a plan to pull off the proposal even though we were both exhausted. After dinner on our way back to the car I stopped Amy by the brick and got down on one knee. Amy was speechless...
